First: the basic conditions :-
It is that each of the spouses has reached the age of 18 in order to be entitled to marry, and if the wife is divorced or widowed, the waiting period must have passed for her, both at the expense of their waiting period
Second: Required documents :
- An objection from the embassy of the foreign party (and he may bring it from his country. The translation and documentation is done by the Egyptian embassy in his country and notarized by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs) and this certificate indicates that the government of this party has no objection to this marriage and mentions the marital status (or divorce or death contract)
- A certificate proving religion (where a Muslim is not allowed to marry atheists - that is, she must be People of the Book) and in the event that the wife is a foreigner and the husband is Muslim, a certificate must be declared of Islam
- Residence stamp in passport
- A personal photo of each of the spouses
- Two copies of all papers and identification
- Two witnesses
